How to register 

  1. Download and open the allpay app. 
  2. Tap the ‘Register’ button. 
  3. Fill in your information: The app will ask you to enter some personal details, account information, and a security question. This information helps keep your account secure. You will also be given the option to ‘enable biometric login’ for faster access to your account. Once complete, press the ‘Sign up’ button. 
  4. Review allpay’s Terms & Conditions. 
  5. Press ‘Accept’ if you agree to the Terms & Conditions. 
  6. Accept Cookies. 
  7. The app will authenticate your account and take you to the ‘Make a Payment’ page, ready for you to set up your payment recipient, payment method and make your payment. 

How to log in to the allpay app if you have allpayments.net account 

  1. Download and open the allpay app on your smartphone or tablet. 
  2. Enter the same username and password you use to log in to your allpayments account. 
  3. Enable biometric login if you wish to use it. 

Add a payee account/PRN 

  1. Open the Menu: Tap the menu button (usually it looks like three horizontal lines) in the top corner of the app. 
  2. Choose ‘Payees’. 
  3. Select `Add new payee`. 
  4. Enter your Payment Reference Number (PRN) or Membership Card number. PRN is the 19 digit number on your card or barcode. Membership Card number is the 14-digit number on your club membership card. 
  5. Press the ‘Next’ button. 
  6. Fill in the mandatory field `Memorable name` marked with an asterisk (*). 
  7. Press ‘Finish’ button. 

Add a Payment Method 

  1. Open the Menu: Tap the menu button (usually it looks like three horizontal lines) in the top corner of the app. 
  2. Choose ‘Payment Methods’. 
  3. Select ‘Add new card`. 
  4. Fill in your cardholder contact details. 
  5. Press the ‘Next’ button. 
  6. Fill in your card details 
  7. If your card needs to be verified, you will be asked to proceed to verification. You can do this by, pressing the ‘Proceed to Verification’ button, which will appear once you have entered your card details. If no verification is required, you can proceed by pressing ‘Save Card’. 
  8. After verifying your card (if required) or choosing ‘Save Card,’ you'll find it listed in your Payment Methods. 

How to Make a Payment? 

  1. Open the Menu: Tap the menu button (usually it looks like three horizontal lines) in the top corner of the app. 
  2. Choose ‘Make a Payment’. 
  3. If you have not added a payee, select the option ‘Add new payee’ 
  4. If you have not added a payment method, you can add one as you make a payment. 
  5. Enter the amount of money you would like to pay from the payment method to the nominated payee/PRN. 
  6. Press the Next button. 
  7. If you have not added a payment method, you will be prompted to do so here. Tap ‘Add address’ to continue, then enter your details and tap ‘Pay’. 
  8. Complete all fields in the Payment details page. 
  9. If you wish to save the card and use it in future transactions, tick the Save Card Details checkbox/radio button. 
  10. In the Verify Payment dialogue, press the ‘Pay Now’ button. 

How to view transactions? 

  1. Open the Menu: Tap the menu button (usually it looks like three horizontal lines) in the top corner of the app. 
  2. Tap ‘History’. 
  3. Set the desired date range using the From and To fields. Alternatively press the ‘Select a date range’ dropdown and select the applicable period. Note: periods count back from current date. 
  4. Select whether you would like to see the history from all your payees or an individual payee. 
  5. Press the ‘Update’ button. 
  6. Payment history will be displayed in a result panel below the panel where you set the search criteria. 

How to return to the ‘Make a Payment’ page 

  1. Open the Menu: Tap the menu button (usually it looks like three horizontal lines) in the top corner of the app. 
  2. From the dropdown menu displayed, tap ‘Make a Payment’. 

 

General FAQs 

What is allpay Internet Payments? 

allpay Internet Payments is a secure online payment facility to accept, authorise and process payments for you. This service is provided by allpay Ltd on behalf of the billing organisation to whom you are paying your bill. 

Forgot your password? 

Follow the ‘Forgot password?’ link on the allpay Internet Payments. You will need to enter your email and allpay will send you a temporary password to use for sign in. Upon logging in you will be prompted to change this to a permanent password. 

If you do not use this temporary password within 96 hours, you must request a new temporary password. 

Forgot the answer to your security question? 

If you have forgotten the answer to your security question, you will need to contact us and provide your: 

  • PRN number (this is the 19-digit payment reference number from your allpay swipe card or barcode) 
  • Name of organisation you are trying to pay (Housing Association, Local Authority, Magistrates' Court, Credit Union, Debt Collector or School) 
  • Email address 
  • Your name (first name and last name) 

What are the rules for setting up a password for allpay Internet Payments? 

allpay internet payments will only accept passwords that include 12 characters including at least: 1 lower case letter, 1 upper case letter and 1 number. 

How to make a payment? 

To make a payment, go to Make a Payment, select the account to pay, select the card, enter the amount and select ‘Next’. Once you have confirmed the payment press ‘Pay’ to complete the payment. 

Do I have to sign up to allpay Internet Payments? 

If this is your first visit to allpay Internet Payments since 19th August 2012 then you must complete a short, simple sign-up process. You can do this by clicking here

This is a one-time process to create your account. If you have already signed up, please sign in with your email address and password by clicking here

Can I sign in to mobile App with my allpay Internet payments website credentials? 

Yes. If you use the allpay mobile app or allpay Internet Payments website, your sign in credentials (email address and password) will work for both. 

Any accounts you have saved with the mobile app will also be available via allpay Internet Payments website. 

What if I cannot sign in to allpay Internet Payments? 

All customers must first complete a one-time sign up to access allpay Internet Payments. Click here to sign up. 

If you have already signed up, please check that when signing in, you are typing your email address and password accurately. We recommend you type your password and do not use copy and paste.

What do I need to use allpay Internet Payments? 

To use allpay Internet Payments you will need: 

  • a 19 digit payment reference number (PRN). PRN can be found on a barcoded bill or magnetic swipe card, which looks like a credit/debit card and usually has the name of the organisation to which you are paying your bills. 
  • a valid debit or credit card since your swipe card has no monetary value. 
  • JavaScript and cookies enabled on your mobile device. 

How safe is the information I enter? 

We take your security very seriously. You can check you're in a secure site by looking at the address bar at the top of the screen. You will see a padlock symbol which means that the site is secure. 

You will also notice a padlock symbol displayed on your browser window which means that you are using a secure site. This position of the padlock symbol differs between browsers, but it is usually at the bottom right-hand side of the browser window or at the top next to the address bar. 

We recommend "strong" passwords and provide several guidelines throughout the site. 

Who can I pay? 

With allpay Internet Payments you can pay your bills to a variety of organisations including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Magistrates' Courts, Credit Unions, and Debt Collectors. If you are in any doubt as to whether your billing organisation enables you to pay bills through allpay service, please contact them directly. 

How much can I pay? 

You can pay any amount between £1 and £99,999 in one transaction. Note that some organisations may impose lower maximum or higher minimum values.
